Biblical Figurines

These small, hand sized figurines are created from molds made from Marianne's clay originals. They are cast in unbreakable resin. Figurines are representative of the Infancy and Paschal Narratives of Jesus's life and are used with the scriptural texts about those events.

The figurines were originally designed to support the work of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS), a hands on method of faith formation for the very young. Presently, thousands of children use these in the US and in other countries around the world.

Figurines must be purchased unpainted. The National Office of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd requests that for this work, the primed and unpainted figurines are painted by the Catechists themselves, or others in their church or schools. This preserves the integrity of this method of education, giving Catechists some ownership of their creative work. Photos of painted figurines are offered as sample ideas only.
