“IL Poverello” ( Little Poor Man) + St. Francis, one of the little people of great love, stands with an empty, cracked bowl. It represents us, empty, in need of God and one another. Person of Heart + One night at a prayer gathering, everything that was shared was about the call to be “people of heart”. That was the night these little people were born. For a long time the tag read, “Thanks, You’re a real person of heart” but it has evolved into a poem about who these people are and how they so willingly share their hearts with us. Each comes tied in a sack with a heart bead and thank you poem for the person of heart in your life.
